Wode by Boudicca
Boudicca recently released a new fragrance that actually comes in a spray paint-esque can. The new scent, called Wode, is colbalt blue and open initial contact will turn skin and any clothing the blue color. As the spray dries, the color disappears. Wode is supposedly based upon the war paint a certain warrior queen was fabled to wear into battle. The name Wode is also a small play on words. "Woad"is a plant extract that turns blue when exposed to oxygen and was also used in ancient British tribal markings.
The scent itself is laden with notes of tuberose, amber, cardamom, clary sage and also hemlock (hemlock? really?)
Yes please.

The reason I hate Christmas
It's so funny that Christmas is supposedly the season of giving and kindness.
I often think this thought as I'm ringing out another asshole at work
or listening to some customer be a total jerk.
Why is it that everyone around the holidays "is so busy"/"I can't wait for this"/"You're too slow doing your job eventhough it's very evident that you are understaffed at the moment."/"Why don't you have this in stock? this is ridiculous."
Working retail is rough as it is.
Working Christmas in retail is pretty terrible.
I can't wait for it to be over with.

The funny thing about bunnies.
The funny thing about owning a bunny is that you can't ever really train him/her (in my case, her.)
I mean, Banana knows right from wrong but chooses on her own terms when she's going to listen (or rather not listen most of the time.) It's fine, except for the times when I have to gently prod her to not do something over and over and over and over again.
Instance #1:
Putting your head where it does not belong:
This keeps happening lately whenever I have a drink near her general vicinity. She'll try to drink whatever happens to be inside (that she finds to be pleasantly pleasing) and because the liquid is so low, she'll start by sticking her head inside the rim. This is always followed by her dunking her head inside the glass. But, it is a huge bunny head and that glass is not that big so it always just to happens that her head gets stuck a few times.
I push her away....only to see it happen 5 more times.
Instance #2
Starring at me creepily while I surf the interwebz.
Anytime I'm on the floor with my laptop Banana will inadvertently rest her chin on the top of my computer screen and stare at me. It's weird.
I push her away.....only to see it happen 5 more times.
Instance #3
Going inside my closet
Banana is absolutely not allowed inside my closet. Being a bunny she is apt to nibble on things (although she dosen't nibble all that much) I'd still rather not take the chance. I don't always keep my door closed, as sometimes I forget. During these times it's only a matter of minutes before I hear a stealth bunny butt sneaking into the closet and rustling around. I either say a ster "HEY" or prod her out. She knows this is wrong, I know she knows this is wrong...and my proof is that whenever I go to get her out of the closet, she bounds away joyfully only to return a minute later if I leave the door open.
God, I'm such a sucker.
